Married for 25 years to a great guy. Born and raised in the south, a hundred percent southern gal. I'm a travel nurse, which takes me all over the usa, have one grandson and two more on the way.
Thanks Susan for hosting Tablescape Tuesday--today my dinning room table is ready for Christmas Day meals--the dishes are hand painted from Germany. I purchased years ago in a local antique shop, the stemware I have collected over the years, monogrammed napkins belonged to my husband's mother. Silver tea pitcher found in an antique shop in a small MS town. I hope you enjoy.
I love your hand painted china plates... My Mother used to paint china... She tried and tried to teach me... but all I wanted to do was pottery... She love the dainty, soft pieces and I loved the mud.
Your tablescape is gorgeous. The details on your china is remarkable. You certainly have a treasure here. I also love the large dome on your server flanked by all the gorgeous teacups and saucers. I can go on and on.. From our home to yours, Happy Holiday, hugs ~lynne~
JUST IMAGINE THE PAINSTAKING TIME IT TOOK TO PAINT THOSE LOVELIES...AH, I AM SO GLAD THAT THEY ARE PRESERVED, USED AND LOVED...AND FOR TODAY, AT LEAST, SHARED!
Somehow I missed this post, but I'm glad I found it now. Those dishes are fabulous! I clicked on the picture to enlarge it, and I am amazed at each plate is so pretty. laurie
