Tablescape Tuesday

Thanks Susan for hosting Tablescape Tuesday--today my dinning room table is ready for Christmas Day meals--the dishes are hand painted from Germany. I purchased years ago in a local antique shop, the stemware I have collected over the years, monogrammed napkins belonged to my husband's mother. Silver tea pitcher found in an antique shop in a small MS town. I hope you enjoy.

Christmas Open House at Cottage in the Cedars

Welcome to my Christmas open house ---I will share my Christmas Tree and tablescapes---so put your feet up and grab beverage of choice and enjoy my Christmas tour. First we will enter the front door--notice the wreath, I made the bow and it is plain and simple. The first thing to appear is the Christmas Tree decorated with ornaments collected over the years, some from after Christmas sales and some from traveling around the states and across the water. The navy blue ball Santa ornament was purchased in Poland.

In the breakfast room I used dishes that I purchased at the 99 cent store in CA. and the dishes in the dinning room are dishes from Germany and have been hand painted.

Blue Monday

A few of you in the blogging world have decorated Christmas trees with blue and white, I only have one tree, so I'm posting my blue ornaments that I purchased years ago in Holland, I had to do something a little different since I just have one tree and this year my goal is to "make do," I hope you like'em.

Christmas-Table

I finally finished my dinning room table, the china I used was purchased several years ago at a local antique mall, each dish is hand painted (from Germany) and signed and there all different. I love them and hope you enjoy viewing.

Mantle Decorations

I have been working on my mantle decorations, posting a photo, I'm not happy with the look, maybe I'll do some tweaking.
