Married for 25 years to a great guy. Born and raised in the south, a hundred percent southern gal. I'm a travel nurse, which takes me all over the usa, have one grandson and two more on the way.
THIS YEAR I HAVE WORKED SO HARD IN MY GARDEN, TRYING TO DIG MY WAY TO CHINA, MARCH OF THIS YEAR I LOST MY BABY SISTER (45 Y/O) TO AN ACCIDENT, MY WAY OF DEALING WITH THIS LOSS IS TO DIG AND DIG AND MORE DIGGING. WORKING IN THE GARDEN IS THERAPY FOR ME, SINCE I HAVE LOST THREE LOVE ONES IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS I NEED LOTS OF THERAPY. POSTING PICTURES OF MY GARDEN TO DISPLAY A LITTLE OF MY WORK. HOPE YOU ENJOY.
I'm so glad to see you posting again! I've found that both blogging and gardening are very therapeutic. I jokingly tell my husband that "gardening is cheaper than therapy" whenever he complains about the money I spend on plants. You are in my thoughts and prayers; I did not know about the loss of your sister. After losing my Dad in 2009, I gardened ferociously last year. It was a way to stay close to my Dad since we had spent so much time in the garden together. The garden is my refuge, I laugh, I cry, I curse, I pray there. In the garden I never feel alone. I hope you find sanctuary there, too. ~Hugs~
so beautiful. I totally am working off any stress in my garden too. Do u plant something in honor of the ones u have lost? Just curious. It would be nice to look at something pretty that reminds u of someone. I just ordered an arbor like yours hope i can grow something successful like u have. gotta check out more of ur blog.
