The last couple of weeks my sweet dad has been very sick, he had a five day hospital stay and then return to the nursing home. My sister and I have been staying around the clock with him to assure he receives the best of care. I'm with him at night and she is with him during the day, he is recovering but it is still a long road. Please remember him in your prayers, he is so sweet and always thanks everyone who cares for him. He will take our hand in his with a tight grasp and constantly pat our hand. It hurts to see him so sick and in pain.

You and your Dad will be in my prayers; I know what you're going through. My dad is 91, and I'm his caregiver, so I've spent many a night sitting up in the hospital, too. Get some rest, take care of your Dad!
